A refined and cozy place where a good wine meets a good cuisine. The dishes of the Wine Bar are made of simple but first quality ingredients, carefully selected.
Gastronomy offers a wide choice of Italian and foreign cheeses and cured meats, which enriches the already numerous selection of hot expressed dishes.
Everyday, untill 8 pm, the aperitif of the Chef, rich of tapas freshly made, fried and crispy food and supplì of every taste, with an accurate selection of wines and champagne drink by glass.
The menu changes monthly, following the seasons, respecting the land and the territories.

Who we are

Del Frate family opens the historical wine shop in 1922, in Via degli Scipioni, in the middle of Prati neighborhood, a few steps from the Vatican Museums and Via Cola di Rienzo.
The shop, initially Wines and Oils, first established itself in the neighborhood and then throughout Rome, with the ever-growing selection of national and foreign labels.
In 2000 opened the Wine Bar, to offer the opportunity to taste wines by the glass and accompany them with the dishes of the kitchen, today led by Chef Fabrizio Del Frate.
Nowadays the Wine Shop has more than 3000 labels and maintains its characteristic family management.
At the store work Elda, her son Fabio with his wife Dina and Enrico, the youngest of the Del Frate family.
